We want to provide you with an update on the current state of business at AQUA as it relates to the COVID-19 outbreak.
First, we are open and operating and will continue to do so as long as it is safe and legal.
The maintenance of properly sanitized swimming pools and other artificial bodies of water is necessary to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases and help maintain community health. Without proper pool maintenance (which includes circulation and treatment of water) various pathogens can grow, such as Pseudomonas, Cryptosporidium, E. Coli, Shigella, etc. It can also create a breeding ground for mosquitoes, other pests and the diseases they may carry. This presents a risk not only to bathers but to the entire community at large.
Also, according to the CDC, COVID-19 cannot survive in properly treated pool and hot tub water.
Second, your safety is our concern as a service provider. Our technicians have no need to come into close physical contact with you. We have taken a variety of steps to ensure a safe work environment for our employees in order to minimize any potential risk to our customers. Also, of note, we have instructed them not to knock or ring your door bell upon arrival.
Third, we now offer curbside pickup and water testing through our showroom. Please call ahead with any needs and we can bring them to your vehicle. We can also test your water while you wait in your vehicle – just call when you arrive. We also offer free delivery in Talbot, Queen Anne, and Dorchester Counties. Please let us know how we can help.
Finally, while we are doing everything that we can to minimize the risk of exposure, we kindly ask that you do the same for our crews. If someone in your home is sick or becomes sick, please let the office know so that you do not expose our technicians. We can postpone and reschedule.
